A pretty complete list of changes between versions of Desktop Armor.
- Version 1.3a Release (December 16, 04):
- Added several more checks to Phishing Net to protect you from scams.
- Added so Phishing Net can show a Lock icon with your mouse cursor so you can tell
easily if a link is on a Secure server and if the form you're about to submit will go to a Secure server.
- Version 1.3 Release (December 7, 04):
- Added Phishing Net to protect from scams!
- Fix a crash with Popup blocker and some versions of Windows.
- Fix the Popup blocker site-list that window didn't save some things right.
- Fix that it didn't setup one toolbar thing right so would ask about it when first installed.
- Fix that unchecking one type of toolbar on the Browser Extras wouldn't be saved.
- Added so Geek/Armor will get registration codes from the other; to make switching
between them even easier.
- Version 1.2a Release (November 18, 04):
- Some combination could cause the CPU to max out; avoid it.
- Added to recognize more OK things and put green checks by them on the Startup Editor and Browser Extras Editor.
- Version 1.2 Release (October 20, 04):
- Fixed handling of "file://" things.
- Fixed a bug in "Allow Popups" editor window that it didn't clear things right.
- Added some Internet Explorer settings to the Browser Extras Editor report.
- Added right click menus for Startup Editor and Browser Extras Editor. New item just in there to
delete the real file that is run by the startup entry; also works if the file is locked (in use by Windows),
will add so the file will be deleted the next time you reboot. Easier than copying over to the
"In Use File Delete" for difficult hijackers.
- Some additional Toolbar settings are monitored.
- Improve some "fishy" detections.
- Version 1.1a (August 24, 2004):
- Brand New!!! (Starting at 1.1a to match versions with my twin, Geek Superhero.)
